Armstrong Awards 2014-2015 Goizueta Scholarship to Ricardo Yair Munoz

Armstrong State University in Savannah, Ga. recently presented Ricardo Yair Munoz from Quitman, GA with a Goizueta Scholarship for 2014-2015.

Through a generous grant, Armstrong has the opportunity to award Hispanic/Latino students a one-year scholarship towards tuition and fees at the university, regardless of their residency status. Although award amounts vary each year, the scholarship pays for up to 90 percent of in-state or out-of-state tuition and fees at the university, in accordance to each student's financial aid need.

Armstrong State University, part of the University System of Georgia, was founded in 1935. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate academic programs in the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science and Technology, the College of Education and the College of Health Professions. Armstrong serves approximately 7,100 students at its main campus in Savannah, Ga. and a regional center in Hinesville, Ga.
